Prediction: Facebook will launch a Twitter rival and have short-term success

Today is Friday, June 2nd, 2023: Sometime in July of this year, Meta (Facebook’s parent company) will launch a social media network to rival Twitter. The launch will be seen as a fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. The new Twitter rival will have short-term success with lots of users, but I see an 80% probability that it will not have long-term success.

UPDATE ON JULY 13:

  • Meta launched a new social media app called Threads in early July, considered to be a rival to Twitter. Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are also in talks to physically fight, which I saw in my vision as a metaphorical fight, so that part was partially correct.
